Early June `93 - The Beginning of it all - Founders Ingmar "Terry" Lundquist and Jocke Aulin kick a football together at Gubbaparken and talk about eventually starting an Aussie rules football team.
Mid June `93 - More join in - Soon to join the team are Jocke Jakobsson, Lasse Eriksson and Henrik Aulin. Things really start to progress though when Terry calls Tomas Polacek about joining the club, ( Terry met Tomas in 1991 at a work interview. Tomas had lived one year in Adelaide and played football there with a team called the ´Woods´. Terry declined the job and didnt speak to Tomas again till this call.) Tomas rings back after an hour and says he has found five Aussies living in Helsingborg - (four are from Sydney and have never played before).
Early July `93 - Getting it together - The Swedes and Aussies meet for the first time at Reini Masareks house. On the same day they check out a possible field at Fredriksdal. After a short training, Marc Breeze is then elected to coach the club as he cant play because of a neck injury. Marc has no previous knowledge of the game.

03 October `93 -First game in Sweden -Players from North Copenhagen, Amager and Copenhagen teams visit a rainy windy Helsingborg to play an friendly exhibition match at Gubbaparken with the Helsingborg team, mixing the four teams together to make two sides - the Swans against the Crows. The Swans win by two goals with some great work by the Helsingborg players especially Michael Garcia playing solid in defence, Patrik Insulàn getting it out in the ruck and Henrik Aulin despite carrying a hangover played swiftly to set up goals to the forwards. Despite the Crows loss, there was no big difference of the two sides. The Crows at one stage in the last quarter kicked four goals in the space of a minute. Helsingborgs Jocke Aulin contributed to his team on the forward line kicking an amazing seven goals and setting up several more. Other good Swedes for the Crows were Reinhold Masarek, Thomas Polacek and Per Rick driving the ball up from the wind. Notable mention to Michael Leontini, despite playing with shoes that were two big for him, did well in the defence. Unfortunately one of Amagers better players Flemming Tiny broke his hand during a tangle with Leontini. Match sheet of the game is unfortunately missing. After the match, DAFL lends the old Copenhagen jumpers and now national jumpers (Sydney Swans) to Helsingborg to use, in waiting for the St.Kilda ones to arrive.
" One broken hand and some bruises, just a friendly little game" - Mark Breeze summary of the game.
" I was thinking that bloke had very big breasts" - Breeze again, when he saw one of the Amazon’s (girls team, kicking the football).
